On July 12, the RA NA Deputy Speaker, the Co-Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assemblies of Armenia and Belarus Eduard Sharmazanov met with the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the Co-Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation Boleslav Pirshtuk in Warsaw.

In the course of the meeting the sides discussed issues regarding the Armenian-Belarusian parliamentary relations, the joint work of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation, the cooperation within the framework of the CSTO PA and the IPA CIS was highlighted.

The interlocutors also discussed agenda items of the upcoming sitting of the Armenian-Belarusian Inter-Parliamentary Committee. The Belarusian side proposed the Armenian one to hold the sitting in autumn. The NA Deputy Speaker accepted Boleslav Pirshtuk’s proposal.
